Can AI see your website? Free AI readiness test

Free test: enter a website address and within seconds we’ll check whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google and Bing can read it, and whether it has the elements AI answers rely on. You’ll get a score from 0 to 100 and a list of specific fixes. No sign-up.

We check robots.txt, indexability, sitemap, structured data and llms.txt. No sign-up.

What we check

CheckPointsWhy it matters
Access for AI search crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot)30Without it, the site may not appear in ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity answers
Access for Googlebot and Bingbot10Google AI Overviews use Google’s index, and ChatGPT and Copilot search rely partly on Bing’s index
Home page responds correctly10A server error or block prevents the content from being read
No noindex directive15A page excluded from the index won’t reach search engines or AI answers
Sitemap10Helps crawlers find all pages
Title and meta description5The basic description search engines and AI use
Company data (schema.org Organization)10Helps recognise the brand unambiguously
Marked-up questions and answers (FAQPage)5Ready question–answer pairs are easy to cite
llms.txt file5An optional description of the site for language models

The test checks the home page and runs transparently — it identifies itself as SEMAI and doesn’t impersonate crawlers. It therefore can’t see blocks that a firewall or CDN (e.g. Cloudflare) applies only to specific AI crawlers; check those in your service dashboard or server logs.

Frequently asked questions

Does a 100/100 score mean AI will recommend my company?

No. A high score means the site is technically ready — crawlers can read it and search engines and AI get the basic information. Whether AI recommends a company depends mainly on what independent sources say about the brand.

Does the test store the addresses I check?

The result for a domain is stored temporarily, for one hour, to avoid checking the same site repeatedly. We don’t collect personal data or use the addresses for any other purpose.

Can I share my result?

Yes. Below the result, click “Copy link to result” — the link opens the test for the same site straight away.

What if my score is low?

For every failed check we show a tip and a link to an article explaining how to fix it. If you’d rather we did it for you, let’s talk about an audit and implementation.
