Privacy policy

This document explains what personal data we process when you use semai.pl, for what purpose and on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

Data controller

The controller of your personal data is the owner of the semai.pl website. For any matters concerning personal data, you can contact the controller at: kontakt@semai.pl.

Contact form

When you send a message through the form, we process the data you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), website address, selected area of interest and the content of your message. Providing data is voluntary, but without your name, email address and message we won’t be able to reply.

We use the data to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare an offer or take other steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Handling correspondence and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims is also our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We keep form data for as long as the correspondence lasts and then for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. If we enter into a contract, we keep the data for the duration of the contract and for the period required by law, for example tax regulations.

Technical data and server logs

When you use the website, the server automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the address of the page visited and information about your browser. This data is used to keep the website secure and working properly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is stored for the period set by the hosting provider.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not use analytics or marketing cookies, does not track visitors and does not load resources from external servers — fonts are served from the semai.pl server. Cookies are used only in the website’s administration panel, after logging in.

Who we share data with

Data may be processed by providers of services necessary to run the website and email, in particular the hosting and email provider (OVH) and people or companies providing technical support — only to the extent needed to provide those services. We do not sell data or share it for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy,
  • rectify your data,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

To exercise your rights, email kontakt@semai.pl.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy, for example when the website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
